APSEA joined members of the civil society in organizing a joint forum that brought together members of the civil society supporting the Proposed Constitution. The forum held on 1st August 2010 at Charter Hall was a brainchild of prominent members of civil society who have fought for constitutional change in the country and it brought together individuals such as Davinder Lamba, Rev. Timothy Njoya, Prof. Yash Pal Ghai, Anne Njogu among others.

The forum was jointly organized by Asian Forum, APSEA, Law Society of Kenya, Kituo Cha Sheria, Centre for Governance and Development, CREAW, CRADLE, KHRC, Bunge La Mwananchi among others
