Parliament on Wednesday approved the nominees to two key commission on law implementation.First to be approved were nine members of the Commission on the Implementation of the Constitution (CIC), followed by members of the Commission for Revenue Allocation (CRA). The nominees of the two commissions were vetted last month, but Parliament declined to appoint them until the report on new electoral boundaries was adopted. The report was adopted on Tuesday. Two women came out as winners. Ms Florence Omosa survived a push to delete her name from CIC, while Ms Amina Ahmed got the reprieve of the House after it rejected a proposal by the Finance, Trade and Planning Committee that she was not qualified. Mr Fred Kapondi (Mt. Elgon, ODM) called for the deletion of Ms Omosa from the list, saying although she was qualified,
