About the MSK
MSK is a membership society registered in 1977 under Section 10 of the Societies Act. The main objectives of the society are to develop a deeper knowledge of marketing to provide services for members and registered students and to make the principles and practices of marketing widely known and effectively used throughout the industry.

Our members range from marketing companies, Media Owners, Advertising Agencies, Institutions of Higher Learning to individual Marketing Practitioners and Academicians. We train practicing marketers, brief members on new developments in marketing through our publication Sokoni Magazine and events that we organize.

To continually promote professional marketing standards, establish a code of ethics and provide an interactive forum for marketers.

MSK Training Opportunities
The Marketing Society has a fully-fledged education and training department that develops courses tailor made to meet the ever-changing needs in the industry. The MSK Practitioners course has been running for over twenty years and leading marketers in the country have gone through the course, which is highly recognized in the industry.

Currently the society is offering the following courses:

• MSK Short courses
• MSK Certificate courses (2 weeks)
• MSK Practitioners Course: This is a six-month course for practicing marketers.
• MSK Executive Diploma: This is a six month course for ones with marketing background and  marketing managers

• Diploma Course: Offered in conjunction with KSPS, it is divided into two parts; Certificate, Diploma and postgraduate degree
• One is required to complete the Certificate course before proceeding to the Diploma section.
• One-day Seminars: MSK runs one-day seminars on a regular basis tailor made to suit the day to day marketing operations. Facilitators of these programmes are members of MSK with long-standing expertise in their area of specialization.
• In house Training: We offer in house training to boost organizational marketing operations for our members at subsidized rates.

MSK Gala Warrior Awards
MSK monitors companies' innovativeness and in its annually held Gala Night, it recognizes outstanding marketing achievement in various disciplines. The awards committee recently increased the award categories from 2 to 5 to elicit a wider participation. Current categories are:

MSK Mtandariko
MSK Mtandariko is a monthly organized social forum for marketers that brings together marketers in various positions and companies in order to socialize or network, exchange ideas and also have companies to launch and create awareness of their products and services.

Brand Kenya is an initiative of the Marketing Society of Kenya in partnership with the government and other stakeholders to market and redeem Kenya?s image at the national and international level.

MSK Education Profile
MSK is a society of members operating under Section 10 of the Society?s Act As a non profit making organization, MSK is committed and focused on the teaching of good marketing practice. MSK has been conducting courses for marketing practitioners since 1978 and our alumni now reads like a who is who in marketing. Our lecturers are required to have had a successful stint as Brand, Marketing and or Sales Managers in established organizations, in addition to solid academic credentials.

Course Programmes
Our training programmes features Practitioners diploma, Executive diploma and Seminars.
Our courses provide for practical and real-time professional class interactions that will help you in career growth and occupational performance. The courses are open to both corporate and self sponsored students.
Applications are done at our offices and can also be done from our website by downloading the form and submitting it at our offices or via online application. Currently registration is ongoing for the June intake at MSK for the Diploma, Executive Diploma, Certificate, Short courses and Seminars; new Seminar courses have also been introduced for the June Intake.
Classes are offered at the MSK Centre at Fedha Towers 11th Floor Muindi Mbingu Street, and also at the MSK branches in Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisumu, and Nyeri as well as in other major towns in the country.
