The Officers of the Association are the Chairperson, the Senior Vice Chairperson, the Second Senior Vice Chairperson, the Honorary Secretary, the Honorary Treasurer and other Additional Members. The Additional Members are the Convenors appointed to advice and assist in carrying out the mandates of the various committees.

Dr Daniel W. Ichang'i
Chairman




 
Dr. Daniel W. Ichang'i born on the 9th of November 1955, is a Registered Geologist and a Senior Lecturer in Department of Geology, University of Nairobi. Dr. Ichang'i graduated with a B.Sc. (First Class Honours) Degree in Geology and Chemistry in 1979 and a M.Sc. Degree in Economic Geology in 1984 from the University of Nairobi. He then obtained his Ph.D. Degree in the field of Economic Geology in 1991 from McGill University. He is the immediate past Chairman of the Geological Society of Kenya and serves on the Geologists Registration Board (GRB). Read More

Steven was born on 16th August 1971 and is currently a consulting architect with Trioscope Planning Services. He is a corporate member and the Chairman of Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK). Joshua Willy Wambua

Born on the 17 December 1962, Mr. Wambua is married with 4 children. He holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from University of Nairobi, which he obtained in 2002. He completed his Certified Public Secretaries Exams in December, 1993 and has been a member of the Institute for the last Eleven years. Read More

Born on the 12th September 1962, Mr. Njoroge is currently the Managing Partner of K. Njoroge and Company (Certified Public Accountants of Kenya. He has worked for over ten years in the Central Glass Industries Limited, a subsidiary company of East African Breweries Ltd, as Finance and Administration Manager and Chief Accountant.

Vincent Oluoch

Vincent holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree and is currently a certified public secretary in Kenya. He was in 1997 engaged as an associate with the firm of Ombija, Wasuna and Company which he left in 2000 to found Ng'ani & Oluoch Advocates. He has a wide knowledge in the Public Sector Reform with special emphasis in the fields of justice, governance and rule of law especially in the fields of legislative drafting, writing and presentation. Dr William Okello Ogara
Convenor, Professional Development and Education Committee



 

Dr.Ogara is the Head of Department of Public Health, Pharmacology and Toxicology, University of Nairobi and is married with children.  As head of Department he is responsible for coordination of a number of researches, diagnostic and students' projects development in the areas of food safety, toxicology and environmental hygiene and biosecurity, pharmacology and toxicology. Felix Owaga Okatch

Felix is a writer of singular importance. He was born on 17th February 1952 at King George VI Hospital, presently Kenyatta National Hospital, Nairobi. He is the first born to the late Peter Okatch, who was an employee of the East Africa Railways and Harbours Corporation and one time General Secretary of Railways Workers Union (Uganda) and the late Mrs. Grace Okatch of Gem Nyawara.

Born on 24th December 1948, David is married with children. He is a Geodetic Surveyor and a Licensed Land Surveyor (Kenya) with more than twenty years experience in Geodetic (control) surveying, engineering surveying and cadastral surveying. David has carried out all these surveys with the Nairobi City Council and currently lecturing in geodesy and astronomy at the University of Nairobi.
